‘Absolutely Chilling’: Conservative Behind Trump Agenda Ripped For Ominous ‘Threat’

Project 25The head of an organization behind an influential policy document expected to guide a potential second Donald Trump administration declared that there’s a revolution taking place right now.

And he appeared to deliver an ominous warning to “the radical left” as he spoke.

“We are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless ― if the left allows it to be,” Kevin Roberts, president of the right-wing Heritage Foundation, said on Real America’s Voice.

Supreme Court orders another review of gun charge behind Hunter Biden's conviction

Hunter BudenHunter Biden's lawyer has vowed to appeal his conviction on gun charges, but the Supreme Court on Tuesday told another defendant challenging the same law as unconstitutional to have his case reviewed again by an appeals court.

Patrick Darnell Daniels Jr.’s case is part of a flood of Second Amendment challenges following a landmark Supreme Court decision in 2022. Daniels has challenged a federal law that bans gun possession for anyone who “is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance.”

The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals overturned his conviction and the Justice Department asked the Supreme Court to resolve the dispute. The justices told him to return to that court for a fresh decision based on a recent high court ruling that upheld disarming domestic abusers.

'No one's pushing me out': President Biden tells campaign he won't withdraw from race

Biden staying in racePresident Joe Biden sought to reassure his nervous campaign staff on Wednesday that he will be the 2024 Democratic nominee, telling his team during a conference call that he is not withdrawing from the race.

Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris joined an all-staff campaign call and pushed back at mounting pressure for the 81-year-old incumbent president to bow out following a disastrous debate performance last week that has thrust his campaign into chaos.

"The past few days have been tough. I’m sure you're getting a lot of calls, and I'm sure many of you have questions as well," Biden told the campaign, according to a source familiar with the conversation. "Let me say this as clearly as I possibly can and as simply and straightforward as I can: I am running.

Trump hush-money trial: judge postpones sentencing to September

Juan MerchanThe judge overseeing Donald Trump’s criminal case in New York postponed his sentencing to 18 September, agreeing on Tuesday to pause proceedings to weigh whether the US supreme court’s recent ruling on immunity could imperil the conviction.

The decision by Judge Juan Merchan to delay the sentencing marks an unexpected setback for the case. It remains unclear whether it will affect what sentence Trump receives given the date is only weeks before the 2024 election.

Trump became the first president to be criminally convicted last month when a Manhattan jury found him guilty on all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in an illicit hush-money scheme to influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.

'Terrible disservice': Biden slams SCOTUS decision giving Trump partial immunity

Biden slams SCOTUS

Biden, in a special evening address from the White House Cross Hall, said the American people deserve to have an answer in the courts before the November election regarding Trump's role in the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol.

"Now, because of today's decision that is highly, highly unlikely. It's a terrible disservice to the people of this nation," Biden said, adding that Americans will "have to do what the courts should have been willing to do but were not."

CNN takes heat for lack of fact checks during Trump, Biden debate

Dana Bash and Jake Tapper

CNN is coming under heavy criticism after two of its top anchors failed to offer real-time fact checks of false statements made by former President Trump and President Biden as they moderated Thursday night’s presidential debate.

During the highly-anticipated and nationally televised clash, both Trump and Biden made a number of misleading or false statements about topics ranging from crime to immigration to the economy.

Moderators Jake Tapper and Dana Bash on multiple occasions offered follow up questions when a candidate had not used up all of their allotted speaking time or had not answered a question directly.

But neither, however, offered any fact checks to the two men’s assertions during the 90-minute broadcast.

“CNN’s decision to abrogate its journalistic responsibilities by not fact checking Trump’s firehose of lies is unforgivable,” wrote former cable news host Keith Olbermann in one social media post.
