9/11 Glance
There are some clear tell-tale dynamics among the American people that I believe go a long way towards explaining why the American people have not taken to the streets to round up the members of the Bush administration, most notably the Cheney/PNAC cabal, and burn them alive for their roles in the events of 9/11. What I mean by this is that the officially acknowledged body of evidence so convincingly incriminates insiders that I can not imagine the American people taking out their anger on the real culprits.
Think about the rage you felt towards al Qaida and the Taliban when you were told that they were the people responsible for 9/11. Well, just imagine the rage you would feel when you realize that the evidence actual points more directly to a sitting American vice president and his comrades in the Department of Defense and in the Defense Policy Board. I know how I feel and I assume, maybe naively, that I am not alone.
Back to point of this article. Let me point out a few interesting dynamics and personality types that I have observed when it comes to the American people and their attitudes towards the official body of evidence as it pertains to 9/11 culpability.

Bush Extends 9/11 National Emergency Yet Again
Though few Americans realize it, Cheney and Rumsfeld worked through the 1980s and 1990s on emergency nuclear-response plans which allegedly suspended the American constitution and also Congress. (Through these decades Rumsfeld was CEO of a major pharmaceutical firm, and in the later 1990s Cheney was CEO of Halliburton; but their private status did not deter them from continuing to exercise a supra-constitutional planning power conferred on them by Ronald Reagan.)

Funny, just when things are getting hot in Pakistan for the US, what with the cross-border raids and all of the bombings of civilians by CIA run Predator drones using Hellfire missiles, that aL-Qaeda shows up, raising hell about raising hell. Funny, that FOX News, the RNC and White House official propaganda outlet, is the first stateside to "discover" this little jewel.. Well, maybe not.

Bush Seeks to Affirm a Continuing War on Terror
Tucked deep into a recent proposal from the Bush administration is a provision that has received almost no public attention, yet in many ways captures one of President Bush’s defining legacies: an affirmation that the United States is still at war with Al Qaeda.
Some lawmakers are concerned that the administration’s effort to declare anew a war footing is an 11th-hour maneuver to re-establish its broad interpretation of the president’s wartime powers, even in the face of challenges from the Supreme Court and Congress.

Lockerbie evidence not disclosed
Scottish police had information that might have changed the outcome of the Lockerbie bombing trial, a BBC TV programme has learned.
The information could have affected the credibility of key evidence, but was not passed to the defence team.
Libyan national Abdelbaset ali Mohmed al-Megrahi is serving life for killing 270 people in the 1988 bombing.
But there have always been doubts expressed about who was behind the bombing and what was their motivation.
He admitted to the programme's producer Guy Smith that the Libyan government had merely accepted responsibility for the Lockerbie bombing in order to get international sanctions lifted.
"Yes, we wrote a letter to the Security Council saying we are responsible for the acts of our employees... but it doesn't mean that we did it in fact.
"I admit that we played with words - we had to.
"What can you do? Without writing that letter we would not be able to get rid of sanctions."
