We can not fool ourselves into thinking that Democrats are sugar and spice. Outside of the fact that they have folded to the current administration they continue to pander to special interests. Israel has overwhelming control over a good portion of both parties. Industry and religious groups push the buttons as well. This has to stop. It will not stop until we revamp the election process and eliminate the need to raise money for elections. Elections should be run as a public service. There should be a C-SPAN like networks in each region where equal time is given to each candidate. Then, and only then will this problem ease. Illegal immoral influence will never vanish from the system but it can be reduced.
