Here is the main argument proving that WMDs, Weapons of Mass Destruction are not a reason to go to war to kill/murder people.
Do the Math
On 9/11/2001 3000 people were killed.
The weapon of mass destruction used: a box cutter.
If there is any lesson to be learned from the attacks of 9/11 it is that if you have the will to kill, you can find a way to kill.
A well spent day at a Coke bottling plant can result in thousands of deaths.
Almost anything can be used as a weapon. We can not eliminate all weapons.
We can however reduce the will to use them against us.
Attacking Iraq just increased the will.
Think about it; if the US had no bombs do you think that would have stopped Americans from doing everything in our power to eliminate Al Quaeda? What makes you think the families of Iraqis that we are murdering will not take vengeance just because we disarm them?
The Bush clan’s justifications for invading Iraq have either been lies, as in the forged documents submitted to the UNMOVIC as evidence or just do not make sense.
Their reasons just do not add up.
Do the math.
Looking for WMD? 8 million chemical weapons exist - They were no-shows in Iraq, but tons of chemical weapons are stoking fears and costing billions to clean up elsewhere in the world -- from concrete ''igloos'' in Oregon, to the Panama rainforest, to the highlands of China, where Japanese war leftovers reportedly have killed hundreds. - In fact, more chemical munitions have turned up lately in Australia than in Iraq, where the Bush administration claimed up to 500 tons would be found. As Baghdad arms hunters searched in vain, chemical weapons material was even being unearthed in Washington, four miles from the White House. - At least 8 million such weapons are stockpiled worldwide, and concern is deepening not only over the health and safety of nearby communities, but also over the threat of theft or attacks on depots brimming with sarin or VX, fearsome nerve agents.
My Epiphany
Could this be the real reason for attacking Iraq?
