That's from an Associated Press investigation, "which found that over the past five years, the money the military spends on winning hearts and minds at home and abroad has grown by 63 percent, to at least $4.7 billion this year."
TVNL Comment: This explains why the fascist like worshiping of our "heroes"in the military by the NFL, UFC and now NASCAR, has been in our our face for the past few years. Think about it...the UFC held an entire event to raise money for soldiers with brin injuries and a Genereal flipped the coin at the Superbowl. Militay worship is a key element of fascism.
